Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join our Index team, working on our detection platform that allows the analysis of data coming from the open-source software realm. **Location: Remote (Home Office) – Poland**
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
- Design and develop backend solutions and APIs
- Write unit and functional automation tests
- Maintain and troubleshoot production applications codebase
- Write implementations of algorithms and solutions designed by our Security Research Team
- Identify opportunities for improvement in system interfaces
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software development
- +4 years of experience with the Java language
- Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ
- Experience with AI tools(i.e.. like Cursor AI or Claude)
- Experience with SQL backend, preferably PostgreSQL,
- Ability to take tasks from requirements to deployment quickly and independently,
- Ability to work within distributed, multidisciplinary teams,
- Design and build scalable, high-availability mission-critical systems and APIs,
- Experience with test-driven development.
